This policy explains how YLD Agency (“YLD”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.

Information we collect

When you contact us. Your name, email address, company, what you need help with and anything else you tell us through our website form, by email, by phone or on a video call.

When you visit our website. Technical information such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your browser and device, and campaign details in the link you used, such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers from Google or Meta. Our website keeps campaign details in your browser for up to 90 days so we can tell which campaign led to your enquiry.

From other people. Sometimes someone refers you to us, or a business partner passes on your details. When that happens we’ll let you know we have your information, unless you already know or the information is publicly available.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
  • To provide our services and manage our work with you.
  • To understand which marketing brings us enquiries, and to improve our website and campaigns.
  • To send you occasional updates, if you’ve agreed to receive them.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar tools from providers such as Google and Meta to measure how our website is used and how our advertising performs. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the businesses that help us run YLD, such as our website host, form and workflow tools, email provider, and analytics and advertising platforms, and only as far as they need it to do their job.

Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand, including in Australia and the United States. When information goes overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected in a way that is comparable to New Zealand law.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete it securely.

Your right to access and correct it

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email hello@yld.co.nz. We’ll respond within 20 working days, and in most cases there’s no charge.

Marketing emails

If we send you marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
